Haus des Kriegerhundes does not breed pets. We breed purpose-driven working German Shepherds for serious work and qualified handlers.
Our breeding program is designed to produce highly capable working canines with the genetics, nerve, drive, athleticism, environmental confidence and trainability required for demanding applications. Prospective placements may include law enforcement, military and government service, personal protection, security, detection, tracking, search operations, working-dog sport and other legitimate professional or operational roles.
These dogs are not appropriate for the average pet home, casual owner, or anyone simply seeking a German Shepherd companion based on appearance, color or pedigree. The very qualities we intentionally breed for can make these dogs unsuitable for inexperienced or inadequately prepared handlers.
Accordingly, every Haus des Kriegerhundes puppy and dog is placed selectively. Prospective clients must complete our qualification process and demonstrate an appropriate purpose, environment, experience level, training plan and ability to properly manage the caliber of dog being considered.
Puppies are not sold by “pick,” appearance or order of deposit. We evaluate each puppy as it develops and make breeder-directed placement recommendations based upon demonstrated temperament, drives, working characteristics and suitability for the client's intended application.

Our responsibility is first to the dog, the integrity of our bloodlines and the work these dogs were bred to perform.

WHY WE BREED
A breeding should have a written purpose. Every planned mating must justify itself through the qualities it is intended to preserve, strengthen or test. Titles and appearance can contribute evidence; they do not replace it.
NON-NEGOTIABLE BREEDING GATES
Documented orthopedic and relevant genetic testing. Temperament and working-character evidence. Veterinary reproductive clearance. A written objective for the mating. Structured puppy evaluation. Longitudinal outcome review.
A-LITTER — THE LEGENDARY WARRIORS
Planned as the foundation of the Haus des Kriegerhundes program, the A-Litter is intended to establish a repeatable system for selection, neonatal development, evaluation, breeder-directed matching, client support and long-term outcome tracking.
HOW PLACEMENT WORKS
*Clients reserve an opportunity for placement—not a specific puppy.*
Approved Interest List — Prospective homes/handlers are screened for intended role, experience, environment, expectations, and suitability.
Conditional Litter Reservations — When offered, a limited number of approved clients may reserve consideration for a specific litter. A reservation secures priority within the placement process; it does not reserve a particular puppy.
Litter Confirmation & Reservation Finalization — After pregnancy confirmation, birth, and sufficient litter-size/health visibility, reservations are finalized for an appropriate number of prospective placements.
Development, Testing & Evaluation — Puppies are observed throughout development and formally evaluated at the appropriate age for temperament, environmental confidence, social engagement, nerve, drives, recovery, problem solving, handler orientation, structure, and other traits relevant to their intended roles.
Breeder-Directed Matching — Only after evaluation does Haus des Kriegerhundes determine which puppy is best suited to each approved client and intended role. Matching is based on the puppy's demonstrated characteristics—not color, appearance, birth order, or a buyer's early preference.
Final Placement — The match is confirmed with the client, contractual requirements are completed, and the puppy transitions to its new handler/home at the appropriate age.
PRICING MODEL
Working/sport puppy placement planning base: $6,500. Development extensions and other opportunities are quoted by scope and capacity. Final pricing and availability are confirmed for each litter/program.
